Who is Paisley? Online I am Paisley Blue, which is a net name I have used for several years. Due to privacy and security reasons, I do not use my real name, address, phone number, and other real-life information online. Let's see... I am 36-years-old and I am five feet tall. I have red hair and hazel eyes. My talents include drawing, writing, and I have a passion for creating websites. During the day I work at a nonprofit organization as an administrative assistant, but in reality I wear lots more hats than that. My web building skills come in real handy, as does my creative out-of-the-box way of thinking. I'm the proud aunt of 13 nieces and nephews. And... what else can I say... I find adventures everyday. Or do they find me? There are lots of labels that can be used to describe self, such as witch, artist, friend, daughter, sister, etc. For the purposes of this site I will share with you that I describe myself as an eclectic kitchen witch. I do not belong to a coven or any one tradition. I am not Wiccan. I do try to listen to the rhythms of the earth and follow the feelings and ethical leanings of my heart. Why did you build this site? I created this website for myself. Basically, my present circumstances do not allow for a lot of outward expression of my spirituality. However, even if that changes, I like the idea of having my information available to me wherever I might be, as long as I have internet access. Can I use your Book of Shadows? This site is certainly a reference point that is freely available to anyone who knows how to get here. If you would like to use the information I have gathered, I won't stop you. None of the pages are password protected, but keep a few things in mind.
Good question. It is wise to seek out your own answers like I have done. If you are using anyone else's material you always want to know what their credentials are, and the energy they have put into it will bleed over into your own work. That is why I have studied for many years - because I wanted to form my own opinions, try things out for myself, and find what works for me. I have been a practicing witch since the summer of 1993, although I can certainly look into my past and see where, even as a child, I was taught magickal thinking by my grandmother and others around me. How can I learn more about you? To be honest, the best way to learn about a person is to be their friend. There is another way, though, by reading my online journal. I want to ask you a question. How do I reach you? Email, baby. Write to paisley_blue AT yahoo.com |
